OSCAR® NOMINATED SHORT FILM SCREENINGS DEBUT IN ROCKFORD
In celebration of the 2025 Oscar® Nominated Short Films theatrical release, Plus Seven Company (P7c) debuted Rockford’s Oscar® SHORTS Preview on Saturday, March 1, at The Music Box in downtown Rockford. The Oscar® Nominated Short Films release, presented by SHORTS, is available annually only in select theaters and venues and, showcasing all short films nominated in the categories of Best Live Action, Best Animated, and Best Documentary Short Film.
Administered by ShortsTV, the Oscar® SHORTS release marks the only opportunity audiences can watch all of the short film nominees prior to the Academy Awards®. In addition to Oscar® short film screenings, Rockford’s Oscar® SHORTS Preview included two short film premieres from regional filmmakers, Q&As, local food and drinks, and industry networking opportunities.
